AVCA Top Flight Award - 2023
PEPPERDINE 2023: Played in 30 matches during her freshman campaign… collected 20 wins for the Waves, including a 16-8 record at position No. 2… Alongside partner Kate Clermont, the pair went 14-3 overall at the No. 2 position, including a win over then-ranked #14 Long Beach State… Also went 4-1 at position No. 3 alongside partner Gabriella Perez... Earned an AVCA Top Flight award.
USA VOLLEYBALL/CLUB: Won her first CBVA Manhattan Beach Open in 2022… She played for Elite Beach Volleyball since 2020 and for MB Sand in 2019 and earlier …Won the AAU National Championship four times, AAU Junior Olympics three times, AAU Best of the Beach, AVP National Championship, and USAV National Championship once… She has been selected to the A1 USA High-Performance Beach Volleyball team for the past seven consecutive years.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Fusion Academy in 2022… Lettered two years at Fusion…Competed at the Beach Volleyball National Championship in her freshman campaign…She also played on the indoor squad during her career at Fusion.
PERSONAL: Originally from Redondo Beach, CA… Majoring in Sports Administration… Daughter of Sterling Standage and Lisa Jordan… Chose Pepperdine “because I love the sense of family you get just being on campus. I love the small atmosphere and knowing everyone.”
FAVORITE: Enjoys going to the beach… Favorites include Tim Hovland (pro athlete), Lakers (pro team), Catcher in the Rye (book), Animal House (movie), How I Met Your Mother (TV Show), In n Out (food), Harry Styles and Rolling Stones (music artists).
