WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll ‘Bronze’ Honors - 2023
PEPPERDINE 2023: Played in 14 matches in her first year for the Waves, all in position No. 3… Collected five wins alongside partner Gracie Pedersen… The duo collected a pair of wins against Santa Clara and picked up a few other victories against Concordia, Houston Christian and UC Davis.
SAINT MARY’S (2018-22): Earned Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week in 2020… Awarded a spot on the 2020 Beach Collegiate National Team… Had the third most season-wins for the Gaels in 2021, appearing in 22 of the team’s 23 matches and collecting 11 wins in the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions … As a senior, appeared in 34 matches for the Gaels, going 19-15 overall … Posted an 11-8 record in the top spot and went 8-7 in the No. 2 position.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2018… Lettered four years for indoor volleyball and water polo… Awarded 1st Team All-League in 2017… Took second place in the 2017 and 2018 CIF State Championships.
PERSONAL: Born in Los Angeles… Majoring in psychology… Daughter of Mercedes Aguilar and Marco Suarez… Has two siblings, Margarita and Marco… Chose Pepperdine because of its “great academic program and great competitive division one program.”
FAVORITE: Enjoys boxing, going on walks, and hanging out with friends and family… Favorites include Misty May (pro athlete), The Odyssey (book), Breaking Bad (TV show), Doja Cat and Trippy Red (music artists), Grilled Salmon (food).
