PEPPERDINE 2023: Played in two matches at position No. 3 with a perfect 2-0 record during her freshman campaign… Also competed in seven matches at the No. 6 exhibition position.
USA VOLLEYBALL/CLUB: Played at Oaks Volleyball Club for 10 years… Played on USAV U13, U15, U17, and U19… Won U13 USAV Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Westlake High School in 2022… Previously attended Grace Brethren her freshman year… Lettered Varsity Volleyball all four years… Won League Champions sophomore year… CIF Champions freshman year.
PERSONAL: Born in Simi Valley, CA…Parents are Carrie and Kevin Wright… Has an older sister, Calista… Her grandmother, mom, and dad all attended Pepperdine and they both played volleyball at Pepperdine… Father Kevin Wright is an Associate AD for the Pepperdine Athletics Department … Chose Pepperdine because of “it’s beautiful campus, great community, and spectacular sports and academics.”
FAVORITE: Enjoys being outdoors, surfing, hiking, and traveling… Favorites include Kerrie Walsh (pro athlete), LA Kings (hockey team), Stay with Me (book), Clueless (movie), Gossip Girl (TV show), Justin Beiber (music artist), sushi (food), soccer (sport other than volleyball).
