PEPPERDINE CAREER: Has amassed a 48-18 (.727) after two years of action with Pepperdine, including a shortened 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Ranks 4th in the Pepperdine beach volleyball record books for most career pair wins alongside Skylar Caputo with a 40-10 record together … Also ranks 4th with career pair winning percentage alongside Caputo with a .800 career winning percentage together … Ranks 19th with her 48 wins in three years … Helped the Waves to a WCC Championship crown and two appearances in the NCAA Tournament including a #5 and #7 finish.
 
PEPPERDINE 2020: Started in all seven duals of the 2020 season, posting a 3-4 overall record in both the No. 2 and 3 positions … Went 2-1 in the No. 2 spot alongside Gigi Hernandez … Posted a three-set win with Hernandez in the season-opener against PCH rival and #9-ranked LMU’s Emma Doud and Savannah Slattery … Season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

PEPPERDINE 2019: Amassed an 18-11 overall record, with a 12-8 output in the No. 3 position and a 6-2 record in the No. 4 position … Played primarily alongside Skylar Caputo, collecting a 12-6 overall record in the No. 3 position … Clinched four matches for Pepperdine with two each in the No. 3 and No. 4 positions … Part of the team that finished 7th in the NCAA Championships.

PEPPERDINE 2018: Posted a 27-3 overall record as a freshman playing with partner Skylar Caputo in the No. 4 position … Amassed a 56-15 record by sets throughout the season … Clinched three matches in the No. 4-slot … Won 18-matches by straight-set decisions and went on a 17-match winning streak to start the season from February 23 to March 27 … Clinched the Waves second win of the season over top-ranked USC to propel the Waves to a No. 1 ranking for three weeks … helped the team to a NCAA Championship fifth place finish and a third-consecutive West Coast Conference championship crown.

USA VOLLEYBALL/CLUB: Played with the U19 USA A1 National Team when 17 and 18 and the U19 USA International Travel Team … While there, the team ranked No. 1 in the U18 division for USA points … Traveled to Larnaca, Cyprus in 2017 for the U19 World Championships and placed 5th in the world … Also traveled to Tahiti for the ISF High School World Championships, placing 1st in the world while representing the U.S.A. … Placed 2nd at the HP Championships in 2016 … Played for San Diego Beach Volleyball Club from 11-18 and WAVE Volleyball Club from 11-16 … Helped SDBVC to back-to-back BVCA National Championships and a AAU Power League Pairs Championship three years in a row … Placed 3rd in the AAU Best of the Beach Tournament and 3rd place at the Cal Cup Championship in 2015 … Finished 1st at the USAV Tournament in Hermosa in 2015 and 1st at the AAU Long Beach to earn bids to the Junior Olympics and Pan Pacific in 2016 … Finished 1st at CBCA Huntington tour, earning a bid to Cal Cup in 2016 … With WAVE indoor, placed 3rd nationally at the Junior Olympics 15s season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, Calif. in 2017 … Lettered two years as an outside hitter and opposite in the Avocado West League and San Diego CIF for TPHS under Head Coach Brennan Dean … In her senior season, was the team kills leader and ranked 2nd in kills in the San Diego Division I volleyball standings … Named All-Tournament Team Santa Barbara Classic, All-CIF first team, San Diego All Star Team, Avocado West Player of the Year and earned the Falcon Award as a senior … In her junior campaign, named All-Tournament Team at the Santa Barbara Classic and led the team with the most blocks … Led her team to San Diego CIF Championship title in 2016 and League Championships in 2016 and 2017 … Helped her team to a No. 26 national ranking and No. 7 California ranking … Also named San Diego Union Tribune Scholar-Athlete all four years and to the All-Academic Team.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in integrated marketing communications … Daughter of Brenda and Michael Filippone … Her father, Michael, rowed at the University of Washington and was a member of the U.S. National Rowing Team … Has one younger sibling, Jagger … Plans to major in communications at Pepperdine … Has career aspirations of playing professional beach volleyball and working as a public relations manager in the marketing/advertising field … She was also a cheerleader for six years and won Worlds in 8th grade … Stated that she chose to attend Pepperdine because “Pepperdine is the perfect fit for [her]. [She] fell in love with the school when [she] was 12 at a camp. Ever since, it has been [her] dream school and [she] made it [her] goal to play volleyball here.  [She] loves the University’s Christian values, culture and location and the beach volleyball program is phenomenal as it is top-ranked and has the best coaches. [She] feels she can really strive here athletically and academically and the small campus feel is something [she] loves and feels like a member of the Pepperdine family already.”
