TRYOUT INFORMATION

Pepperdine Cheer will hold tryouts on campus on Friday, August 29th, 2025. To be eligible for tryouts, you must be a full-time undergrad or graduate student enrolled at Pepperdine.

REQUIRED PAPERWORK DUE
In order to try out, prospective cheerleaders will need to turn in the required Google Form. Please note that there is a bit of medical paperwork required.

MATERIAL CLINIC
You will learn the material on August 27 and 28, as well as interact with Coach Maddie and other students.

TRYOUTS
In small groups, you will perform the material learned at the clinics. There will also be a small group interview.

The Pepperdine Cheer Squad is responsible for leading the student body, bringing the community together, and enhancing school spirit. We cheer at all men's and women's home and postseason basketball games and make appearances at various events around campus and in the community.
