ACADEMIC AWARDS: Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete in 2018-19 and 2019-20.
 
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2020 (SO): Did not compete at any indoor or outdoor meets.
 
PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2019 (FR): Ran at the first three meets of the season ... Ran the 400 hurdles twice (best of 1:09.15 at the Ben Brown Invitational on 3/9) and the 200 and the 400 once apiece.
 
PEPPERDINE INDOOR TRACK 2019 (FR): Competed at three meets ... Ran the 200 (best of 29.22 at Boise State on 2/1) and 400 (best of 1:06.11 at Boise State on 2/2).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mabank (Texas) High School in 2018 ... Ran four years of varsity track ... Was the district champion in the 300-meter hurdles as a senior ... Two-time team captain and team MVP as a senior ... Set school records in the 100 (17.09) and 300 (48.14) hurdles ... Earned THSCA Academic All-State as a senior ... President of the DECA club, member of the National Honor Society and on the honor roll all four years.

Her father was an NAIA champion and All-American in track at Oklahoma Christian ... Her mother played softball at Baylor ... Has two sisters, Heather and Brooklynn, and eight step-siblings ... Chose Pepperdine “because of everything they are. Every program they offer is amazing and well put together. I’ve prayed about my future for years and every time I’ve felt nothing but peace when it comes to Pepperdine. I knew it was the home for me.”
 
FAVORITES: Enjoys going to concerts, doing volunteer work and exploring nature ... Favorites include Allyson Felix (pro athlete), Texas Rangers (pro sports team), 1984 (book), The Da Vinci Code (movie), Criminal Minds (TV show), Twenty One Pilots, Brand New and Modern Baseball (musical artists), steak (food) and volleyball (sport other than running) ... Favorite thing about running is “the time between the starting gun and when I cross the finish line. During these moments my mind is completely at peace and all I am focused on is the race. In today’s non-stop society, it is very important to have moments of serenity, and this is where I find mine.”
