PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2021 (FR): Competed at one meet ... Ran the 200 meters in 29.84 and ran a leg of Pepperdine’s 4x400 team at Westmont (2/13).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Yorktown High School, located in Arlington, Va., in 2020 … Ran four years of varsity indoor and outdoor track … Was part of the school-record breaking 4x200 relay team as a senior in indoor track … Ran on Yorktown’s 4x100 and 4x400 teams that had top-three finishes at the outdoor district track meet as a junior … In outdoor, placed sixth at districts and 13th in the region in the 400 meters as a sophomore … Made the 6A North Region Athletic Honor Roll in all four years … Won the Coaches Award in indoor track as a senior and outdoor track as a junior … Also lettered in field hockey and was a second-team all-district field hockey selection … Helped Yorktown place second at regionals and advance to the Class 6 state quarterfinals as a senior.

Born in Abilene, Texas … Daughter of David and Kristi Henshaw … Has one sibling, Morgan … Chose to attend Pepperdine because of “the Christian community, and the fact that the professors care about students from both academic and personal perspectives.”

FAVORITES: Enjoys traveling, playing field hockey and watching movies … Favorites include Buster Posey (pro athlete), San Francisco Giants (pro sports team), The Driver Era (musical artist), Chick-fil-A nuggets (food) and field hockey (sport other than running) ... Favorite thing about running is “the bond you create with your teammates while pushing yourselves to your limits, and then being able to see the results of your hard work out on the track.”
