PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2021 (FR): Competed at two meets ... Ran the 200 meters twice (best of 29.29 at Fresno Pacific on 3/6) ... Ran Pepperdine’s only 400 meters this season (1:04.49 at Fresno Pacific on 3/6) ... Also anchored Pepperdine’s 4x400 team at Westmont (2/13).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Rogers (Ark.) High School in 2020 … Ran three years of varsity indoor and outdoor track … In indoor, led the Rogers 4x400 relay team that won a 6A state title, and set both the school and the state record … Won a 400 meter indoor state title as a junior … In outdoor, ran on the 6A state champion 4x400 meter team as a sophomore … Helped Rogers win three-straight 6A indoor track team titles … Was a varsity indoor track captain as a senior … Won a Chamber of Commerce award and was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Born in Danbury, Conn. … Daughter of Jeff and Amy Wright … Has two siblings, Jordan and Austin … Plans on majoring in psychology … Chose to attend Pepperdine because “Pepperdine sets its students up for success not only during college, but afterwards as well. The staff truly cares about their students. It has everything I wanted in a college.

FAVORITES: Enjoys painting and watching movies … Favorites include Frank Ocean and Post Malone (musical artists), Harry Potter (book series), Clueless (movie), Iceland (place) and basketball (sport other than running) ... Favorite thing about running is “the people I am surrounded with and the feeling of accomplishment after a workout.”
