PEPPERDINE 2020: Played in two duals in the No. 5 position for the Waves in her sophomore campaign … Picked up a three-set win over #10 Stetson pair Kamryn Johnson and Madison Bobes alongside partner Peyton Lewis … Compiled a 1-1 overall record … Season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
PEPPERDINE 2019: Did not see any action as a true freshman.
 
USA/CLUB: Played for Valley Girls Beach Club, LAVA West and VCVC during the last six years … Helped Valley Girls to a BVCA Championship in 2017 and finished in gold the last two years at AAU Beach Nationals … Was invited to USA Beach High Performance A2 Nationals three-straight years.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated high school from Villanova Preparatory School in Ojai, Calif. in 2018 … Lettered four seasons of indoor volleyball at VPS as an outside hitter and middle under Head Coach Sam Calisto in the Tri-Valley League … Earned All-League first team honors after her senior season and averaged 3.7 kills/set on a .478 success rate, 1.3 blocks/set and 2.7 digs/set … In her sophomore season, she earned All-League honorable mention status and earned 2^nd place for the high school surf team … In her freshman campaign, she earned All-League honorable mention in volleyball and was 1^st place in the women’s short board for surfing and helped her team to Division II champions status … Also lettered in swimming.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in liberal arts for education … Daughter of Matt and Michele Bailey … Has two siblings, Austin and Kaity … Sister Kaity is also on the beach volleyball team at Pepperdine … Majoring in Creative Writing and Teaching at Pepperdine and has goals of becoming an elementary school teacher and writer … Her mother Michele was a swimmer at Cal Poly SLO and her uncle Mike Shaffer was a swimmer at UC Santa Barbara … Chose Pepperdine because “It has the best beach volleyball program in the nation, my sister goes there, God is a big part of my life and I love the ocean.”
