PEPPERDINE TRACK 2025 (FR): Competed in six meets as a true freshman, specializing in the sprints ... Ended the year by running two top-10 times at the Oxy Invitational (5/3) ... Ran the program's fourth-fastest 200-meter dash time in 22.81 seconds ... Broke into the program's top-10 rankings in the 400-meter dash with his time of 51.79 seconds, which ranks eighth in program history ... Ran his collegiate-best time in the 100-meter dash at the Leopard Invitational ... Set the school record in the 60-meter dash at the Westmont Sunshine Open (2/8).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from The Webb Schools, located in Claremont, Calif., in 2024, where he ran three years of varsity track and currently holds the school record in the 400-meter dash (49.32 seconds) ... Specialized in the 200- and 400-meter dashes, but also ran the 100-meter dash and was on several relays ... Was named the Sierra Madre League Track Athlete of the Year as a junior and as a senior ... As a senior, won San Joaquin League titles in the 200, 400, 4x100 and 4x400-meter relays ... Went sub-50 in the 400-meters in the last day of the regular-season to break the school record ... Placed second in the 200-meters and third in the 400-meters at the CIF Southern Section Finals as a senior ... Also lettered in football and was an all-league selection and the player of the year.

PERSONAL: Son of Tracy Stewart-McCray, who attended the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law ... Has one sibling, Kyle ... Plans on majoring in political science and pursuing a career in law ... Chose Pepperdine because of its "esteemed recognition in higher education. However, I wanted to add to the curriculum a track team which is well respected and rooted in a sense of spirituality." 

FAVORITES: Enjoys watching YouTube outside of running ... Favorites include Kobe Bryant (pro athlete), the Los Angeles Lakers (pro sports team) and football (sport besides track and field) ... Is also a big fan of sci-fi movies and books ... Enjoys running track because "I love the excitement and thrill of running. I like that it takes a lot of inner commitment because it can feel like an individual sport, even though you are on a team."
