PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2023 (FR): Competed in five of the nine meets … Ran mainly in the 800 meters and once in the 400 meters … Earned a 400 meter time of 1:12.78 at the Oxy Distance Carnival (3/11) … Had a season-best 800 meter time of 2:42.76 (at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Collegiate 3/25).

PEPPERDINE INDOOR TRACK 2023 (FR): Competed in all three of the indoor meets … Ran the indoor 400 meters twice, the 800 meters once and part of the 4x400 meter relay team … Competed in the 800 meters at the MPSF Indoor Championships (2/17) in a time of 2:51.26 … Had season-best indoor 400 meters time of 1:15.90 at the Portland Indoor (2/5).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High School in 2022 … Ran varsity cross country and track for three years … As a senior, was part of the CIF finals team for cross country … Helped the cross country to a CIF Championship in 2019 … Was a part of the cross country squad that collected a third-place finish at the State meet in 2019 … Has personal records of 21:50 in the 5K, 28.00 in the 200 meters and 2:41 in the 800 meters.  
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in sports medicine ... Born in Irvine, Calif. … Daughter of James and Sagui Doering … Mom, Sagui, completed doctorates degree at Pepperdine and is an adjunct professor … Chose Pepperdine because “it felt like home. Everyone was so welcoming and I felt comfortable int the environment, not to mention the opportunity to run as well as the academic standard of the school. Plus, nothing can beat that view!”
