PEPPERDINE 2020: Came in briefly to serve vs. Jamestown (3/11) in his only appearance as a sophomore.
 
PEPPERDINE 2019: Was a student at Pepperdine during 2018-19, but was not on the volleyball team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from John Burroughs High School, located in Burbank, Calif., in 2018 ... Played three years of varsity volleyball ... Earned All-Pacific League first team and Glendale News-Press All-Area first team as a senior ... Had 271 kills, 148 digs, 43 aces and 25 blocks ... Also made the all-league second team in 2017 ... Set a school record with 10 aces in a match ... Won a CIF D2 state championship in 2016 ... Won three Pacific League championships and never lost a league match ... Played with former Pepperdine middle blocker Max Chamberlain.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Glendale, Calif. ... Son of Luis and Lori Rosal ... Has two sisters, Talina and Maya ... A grandfather, Michael Cyriak, played professional soccer in Slovakia ... Chose Pepperdine because “aside from the amazing location, I really enjoy the academic opportunities Pepperdine has to offer.”
 
FAVORITES: Enjoys playing and watching sports and playing video games ... Favorites include LeBron James (pro athlete), Los Angeles Lakers (pro sports team), The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (book), Star Wars saga (movies), Stranger Things (TV show), Travis Scott (musical artist), shrimp pasta (food) and basketball (sport other than volleyball) ... Favorite thing about volleyball is “forming bonds with my teammates and working together on the court.”
