MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine men's volleyball saw three named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
James Eadie, Cole Hartke, and Jacob Reilly were recognized with the academic honor. To be eligible, the student-athlete must maintain a 3.5 GPA while participating in 90 percent of the season's contests with significant impact on the match.
All three started nearly every match for the Waves this season. Eadie led Pepperdine on the defensive side of the ball in blocks while Hartke led the team, as well as the nation, in kills per set. Reilly, as one of the top liberos in the country, was named to the All-American Honorable Mention list while Hartke earned a First-Team All-American nod.
This is Eadie's second consecutive year receiving the academic honor while it is Hartke and Reilly's first. The trio earned a spot on MPSF's All-Academic team earlier this year.
Hartke will be advanced to the CSC Academic All-American ballot, announced July 8.
