ACADEMIC AWARDS: WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "bronze" honors in 2017-18.
PEPPERDINE XC 2017 (FR): Ran at the first four meets of the season ... Had a season-best 6K of 25:10.1 at the UC Riverside Invitational (9/16).
PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2018 (FR): Competed at six of the eight outdoor meets ... Had the team's best times in the 400 and 800 ... Ran 1:01.41 in the 400 at Cal Poly (3/24) and 2:22.04 in the 800 at UC San Diego (4/14) ... Did not compete at any indoor meets.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Stockdale High School, located in Bakersfield, Calif., in 2017 ... Ran four years of varsity cross country and track ... Earned all-area first team in cross country as a sophomore and was second team as a junior ... Was all-area second team in track as a senior ... Competed in the 400, 800 and mile ... Won multiple league championships with her team in cross country ... Also played soccer ... Member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Born in Nampa, Idaho ... Daughter of Nichole and Jason Davenport ... Has three siblings: Brayden, Trennyn and Ashlyn ... Majoring in psychology ... Chose to attend Pepperdine because "of the environment. The people really seem to care about you as a person, and everyone shares the same motivation to learn, train and to grow closer to God."
FAVORITES: Enjoys reading, playing other sports and watching Hawaii Five-O on Netflix ... Favorites include Roger Bannister (pro athlete), Team USA (pro sports team), The Running Dream (book), Forever Strong (movie), The Office (TV show), Taylor Swift (musical artist), tri-tip (food) and soccer (sport other than running) ... Favorite thing about running is "I love the feeling of running. I enjoy forgetting about everything and just focusing on my body and pushing through the pain to become stronger and faster. Nothing is better than the accomplished feeling you get after finishing a hard run instead of giving up."
