PEPPERDINE XC 2019 (JR): Did not run in any meets.
 
PEPPERDINE XC 2018 (SO): Competed at the first five races of the season ... Season-best 8K of 25:19.7 at the Bronco Invitational (10/13), which put him at #13 on the Waves’ all-time list.
 
PEPPERDINE XC 2017 (FR): Ran at the first five meets of the season ... Was the Waves' #3 runner at the Pepperdine Invitational (9/1) and in the top five in two others ... Best 8K was 26:06.7 at the Capital Cross Challenge (9/30).
 
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2021 (SR): Competed at six of the eight regular-season races ... Raced in three different events, but mostly focused on the 5,000 ... Ran the 5,000 three times (best of 15:44.18 at Azusa Pacific on 4/3), the 1,500 twice (best of 4:07.20 at Azusa Pacific on 5/14) and the 800 meters once at Fresno Pacific (3/6).
 
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2020 (JR): Competed at both outdoor meets before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic ... Ran the 1,500 meters and the mile once apiece.
 
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2019 (SO): Took part in nine of 10 meets ... Had bests of 4:05.42 in the 1,500 at UC San Diego (4/13), 4:26.14 in the mile at UCLA (3/29), 8:59.04 in the 3,000 at UC Irvine (3/16) and 15:18.51 in the 5,000 at the Beach Invitational (4/19).
 
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2018 (FR): Competed at four of the nine meets ... Ran the 3,000 twice, with a best of 9:08.36 at Westmont (2.17).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from John Burroughs High School, located in Burbank, Calif., in 2017 ... Ran two years of both varsity cross country and track ... Ran the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 in track ... Went to the state championship in cross country both seasons ... Cross country and track teams won Pacific League titles.
 
CLUB: Ran for O'Brians Army XC for four years ... Won a 2016 national championship at Junior Olympics.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in sports medicine ... Born in Los Angeles, Calif. ... Son of Leila Wells and Mike Wells ... His father ran cross country and track at CSUN ... His twin brother Patrick is a fellow freshman on the Pepperdine cross country/track teams ... Also competes in the duathlon as part of Team USA ... Chose to attend Pepperdine because "I believe it can help me achieve the things I want to achieve."
