ACADEMIC AWARDS: Earned CoSIDA Academic All-American second team honors in 2019 ... Three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District first team (2016-17, 2017-18, 2019-19) ... WCC All-Academic first team in fall 2016, 2017 and 2018 ... Earned WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "gold" honors all four years (2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19) ... Pepperdine Athletics’ Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2018-19 ... A Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete all four years (2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19).
PEPPERDINE XC 2018 (SR): Ran at all six meets and was the Waves’ top runner at four of them ... Broke his own 8K school record at the Bronco Invitational (10/13), finishing eighth overall with a time of 24:03.9 ... Was sixth overall at the Mark Covert Classic (9/1) and 10th at the Cougar Classic (9/14).
PEPPERDINE XC 2017 (JR): Earned All-WCC honorable mention honors, becoming the first men's runner from Pepperdine to earn all-conference status since 2007 ... Placed 15th at the WCC Championships (10/27) with a season-best 8K of 24:17.0 ... Won the Highlander Invitational (10/14), which included 124 runners ... Was ninth out of 227 runners at the Capital Cross Challenge (9/30) ... Ran at the final five meets of the season and was Pepperdine's top runner at the final four.
PEPPERDINE XC 2016 (SO): Broke his own school record in the 8K and added the 10K record as well ... Was the Waves' top finisher at all six events ... Won both the Pepperdine Invitational (9/1, 26 runners) and WCC Preview Meet (9/17, 66 runners) ... Was eighth out of 173 at the Capital Cross Challenge (10/1) and 12th out of 173 at the Bronco Invitational (10/15) ... His time of 24:06.5 at the Capital Cross Challenge set the 8K record ... Finished 18th at the WCC Championships (10/28) in 25:08.3, becoming the first Wave to finish in the top 20 since 2007 ... Set the 10K record with a time of 30:22.7 at the NCAA West Regional (11/11), good for 35th place, the best-ever finish by a Wave at the event.
PEPPERDINE XC 2015 (FR): Pepperdine's top runner in his first season ... Competed at all seven meets and was the Waves' top finisher at six of them ... Came in first in a home dual vs. CSUN (9/1) in 15:31.68 ... Was third at the Aztec Invitational (9/18) out of 66 runners and fourth at the Capital Cross Challenge (10/3) out of 68 runners ... He became the first Wave to break 25 minutes in an 8K in at least 20 years when he finished the Capital Cross Challenge in 24:58.0 ... Was Pepperdine's top runner at the WCC Championships (10/31, 26:27.5) and the NCAA West Regional (11/13, 33:24.4).
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2019 (SR): Competed at nine of 10 events ... Had the team’s second-best times in the 3,000 (8:43.85 at Cal Poly on 3/23) and 5,000 (14:58.01 at the Ben Brown Invitational on 3/9) ... Had a fourth-place finish in the 5,000 at Ben Brown, and a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 3,000 at UC Irvine (3/16) and Cal Poly (3/23).
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2018 (JR): Entered into four meets, but didn’t complete any races.
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2017 (SO): Ran at six of eight meets ... Broke his own record in the 5,000, running 14:32.91 at UC Irvine (3/17) ... Had a couple of second-place finishes in the 3,000 at Westmont (2/18) and Riverside CC (3/4) ... Also competed in the 800, 1,500, mile and 10,000.
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2016 (FR): Set three school records in his first season (3,000, 5,000 and 10,000) ... Ran 8:31.23 in the 3,000 at San Diego State (3/25) ... Broke the 5,000 twice, with a best of 14:41.16 at UC Irvine (3/18) ... Recorded a time of 30:51.98 in the 10,000 at UCLA (4/1) ... Best finishes included second out of 22 in the 3,000 at Riverside CC (3/5) and third out of 32 in the 5,000 at the Beach Invitational (4/15).
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Scotts Valley (Calif.) High School ... Ran three years of varsity cross country and track ...
