MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine women's soccer (11-6-2, 8-2-1 WCC) earns the third straight and 15th overall bid to the NCAA tournament, announced Monday afternoon.
"We're excited to go down and play in a way that will honor not just past players, but the university," head coach
Tim Ward said. "We want to do it in a way that will honor God, Pepperdine, and anyone who's ever worn the jersey."
The Waves will play Saturday night at 6 p.m. down the road at fourth-seeded UCLA.
In the most recent meeting between the two squads, Pepperdine took down the #3 Bruins 1-0 in Malibu last season.
Overall, the Waves are 4-22-4 against the Bruins, including 2-11-1 in Westwood.
