Women’s Soccer Prepares for Battle with Santa Clara

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Pepperdine women's soccer (6-4-1, 3-0 WCC) heads north to play the Broncos of Santa Clara (5-4-2, 1-0-2 WCC) in a clash between the top-two projected seeds in the West Coast Conference.

"It's been a tough place for us to go in year's past, but we have big dreams and big dreams require big performances at places like this," Head Coach Tim Ward said. "We've got to continue to focus on our performance levels and us getting better at what we do."

LAST TIME OUT
  • The Waves beat Pacific 9-0 for the largest margin of victory in a WCC match since 2013.

  • Tatum Wynalda with a .652 on-goal shot percentage, sits at 14th in the nation for accuracy.

SERIES HISTORY
  • In 31 matches with Santa Clara, Pepperdine is 11-19-1 overall, only one of two teams in the conference that holds a winning record over the Waves.
