Our Goal:
The overriding goal of the Athletics Academic Services office is to assist student-athletes with reaching their fullest academic and personal development while at Pepperdine University. Athletics Academic Services provides academic resources and leadership development for student-athletes to assist them in earning their degrees. We take pride in preparing the for life after graduation. As a staff, we work closely with coaches and faculty to help student-athletes balance the demands of their academic responsibilities and participation in intercollegiate athletics.
We offer academic support in the following areas:
- Course and major selection
- Supervised study hall
- Interpretation of eligibility rules
- Exam proctoring
- Tutoring and mentoring
- Assistance with study skills and learning tools

Study Hall:
Study hall is required for all incoming student-athletes. It is offered Monday-Thursday and Sunday in Payson Library and the Academic Services Office located in Firestone Fieldhouse.
Tutoring and Academic Mentoring:
Academic Services is proud to offer subject-based tutoring and general academic mentoring to all student-athletes. Student-athletes who are interested in being connected with a tutor or academic mentor should fill out this form.
