Â
"The Waves had a great two days on the track this weekend. It was awesome to see so many of our athletes come away from CSUN with personal bests and heat wins. Every time Thomas runs the 400m hurdles he just gets better and better, we're excited for him to get a few more very competitive chances at the event this season," said head coach Lauren Floris. "Ryan's record was also his best executed race this season. Colin took him through 400m hard and Ryan worked hard over the second half to hold the lead and pull off a massive PR. Up at Stanford Karl and Kyle ran well in very competitive fields. Karl lowered his school record in impressive fashion, closing the last mile in under 4:20."
Â
The Waves will travel south of Malibu for the next outdoor meet at the Triton Invitational hosted by UC San Diego in La Jolla, Calif., on Saturday, April 9.
