An important note on how the players were selected: Complete numerical rosters for men's basketball only go back to 1968-69. In some cases, additional standout student-athletes from prior to those years were identified. Any student-athlete who received at least all-conference honors during this time, and others of note, were included based on current available information.

- Lorne Jackson (Simi Valley, Calif./Simi Valley HS) wore #0 as a fifth-year senior in 2012-13 after wearing #20 for his first four seasons. He earned All-WCC honorable mention honors that season. Jackson led the Waves with a 13.6 scoring average that season. He finished with 1,297 career points.
- Amadi Udenyi (Oakland, Calif./De La Salle HS/St. Thomas More) wore #0 for all five seasons (2014-18). He finished fourth on the Waves' all-time assist list with 426 and also ranks in the top five in career assist/turnover ratio (2.27). Udenyi is currently a graduate manager with the Waves.

- Devin Montgomery (Los Angeles, Calif./Moorpark College) was All-WCC honorable mention while averaging 11.7 points and 3.8 assists for an NCAA Tournament team in 2001-02. The transfer guard played two seasons for the Waves.
- Tashaan-Forehan Kelly (Irvine, Calif./California) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2005-06 as he was the team's top scorer and rebounder at 15.5 points and 5.8 boards per game. The guard/forward played two seasons for the Waves after transferring.
- Jordan Baker (Tempe, Ariz./Tempe HS) was All-WCC honorable mention as he averaged 11.4 points in 2012-13. He played two seasons for the Waves.

- Glen McGowan (Los Angeles, Calif./Notre Dame Prep) began his career wearing #22 but as a junior and senior in 2003-04 and 2004-05 he switched to #2 and earned All-WCC first team honors both years. The forward averaged 19.2 points and 7.6 rebounds as a senior and 17.8 points and 5.4 rebounds as a junior. He finished with 1,314 career points.

- Geoff Lear (West Covina, Calif./Bishop Amat HS) began his career wearing #3 and earned his first of three All-WCC first team honors as a sophomore in 1989-90. The forward averaged 13.8 points and 8.9 rebounds that season.
- Brandon Armstrong (Vallejo, Calif./Vallejo HS) made the All-WCC first team in both 2000 and 2001. The guard led the WCC in scoring at 22.1 points per game in 2000-01 and averaged a team-high 14.4 points in 1999-00. Over his three seasons, he scored 1,175 career points. He went on to play three seasons in the NBA.
- Alex Acker (Compton, Calif./Eisenhower HS) made the All-WCC first team in 2005 and was honorable mention in 2003 and 2004. The guard averaged 16.6 points and 3.7 assists his final season. He finished with 1,273 career points. Acker moved on to a long professional career, including parts of two seasons in the NBA as well as overseas.
- Keion Bell (Los Angeles, Calif./Pasadena HS) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2010. The guard averaged a team-high 18.5 points that season and scored 1,365 career points.
- Jeremy Major (Pasadena, Calif./Maranatha HS) recorded 494 career assists between 2014-17, breaking a school career record that had stood for more than 30 years. The guard also scored 1,236 career points.

- Harry Dinnel (Manhattan Beach, Calif./El Camino JC) was the co-WCC Player of the Year in 1962 and an All-WCC first team selection in 1963. The forward averaged a double-double for his two-year career with 12.7 points and 11.3 rebounds. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1981.
- Mark Wilson (Compton, Calif./Gahr HS) (1981-84) held the program's career record for assists for more than 30 years, recording 450 between the 1981 and 1984 seasons.
- Marty Wilson (Pacoima, Calif./Simi Valley HS) 1986-89) was a standout point guard between 1985 and 1989, accumulating 342 assists over 101 games. He later served two stints as an assistant coach at Pepperdine and became the Waves' head coach for seven seasons.
- Malcolm Thomas (San Diego, Calif./Crawford HS) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2008, averaging 12.5 points and 8.8 rebounds at center in his only season with the Waves.
- Colbey Ross (Aurora, Calif./Eaglecrest HS) is a two-time All-WCC first team selection. The point guard has set dozens of Pepperdine records, including the school's all-time assist record (647) after just three seasons. With 1,763 career points, he's just 23 points away from the scoring record as well.

- Larry Dugan (Los Angeles, Calif./Manual Arts HS) is believed to be Pepperdine's first black basketball player. He was a 1955 NAIA All-American and became the third player in school history to score 1,000 career points. The forward/center holds the school record for rebounds in a game with 36 against UC Santa Barbara in 1955. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1981.
- Grant Gondrezick (Boulder, Colo./Boulder HS) scored 924 points in his four-year career between 1982-86. The guard went on to play in the NBA for two seasons.
- Craig Davis (Oxnard, Calif./Hueneme HS) switched from #22 to #5 for his fifth season and earned All-WCC first team honors in 1990. He averaged 14.0 points that season and finished with 1,619 career points. The guard holds the program career record for three-pointers made (274).
- Marvin Lea (Riverside, Calif./King HS) was a standout guard from 2003-07. He averaged 14.6 points per game as a senior.
- Stacy Davis (Laveen, Ariz./Fairfax HS) earned All-WCC first team honors three times from 2014-16 and set the program's all-time scoring record (1,876 points) while finishing #2 in rebounds (994). The forward averaged 15 points per game as a sophomore, junior and senior.

- William "Bird" Averitt (Hopkinsville, Ky./Hopkinsville HS) had the two greatest offensive seasons in school history, averaging 28.9 points as a sophomore in 1971-72 and leading the nation at 33.9 points as a junior in 1972-73. The shooting guard was an All-American and the WCC Player of the Year in 1973. He scored 1,541 points in his two-year career. He had six of the seven highest-scoring games in Pepperdine history, including a record 57 points against Nevada in 1973. He went on to play in both the ABA and the NBA. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1981.
- Steve Guild (Huntington Beach, Calif./Marina HS) was an important reserve from 1990-93 and played on two WCC title teams. He scored 735 points in his career and averaged 10.1 points as a senior.

- Jon Korfas (Santa Barbara, Calif./USC) finished his career in 1986 at #2 on Pepperdine's career assist list. The guard had 438 in his three-year career after transferring in, and also scored 836 points.
- Craig Lewis (Portland, Ore./Benson Tech HS) scored more than 800 career points at guard between 1999-02.

- Steve Sims (Redondo Beach, Calif./Redondo Beach HS) made the All-WCC second team in both 1970 and 1971. The guard scored 1,176 points in his three-year career and averaged 16.8 points as both a junior and senior.
- Damin Lopez (Glendale, Ariz./Apollo HS) made the All-WCC first team in 1994 after averaging 14.7 points and 3.8 assists. The guard is #2 all-time in three-pointers made at Pepperdine (239) and scored 1,091 career points. He later came back to Pepperdine as an assistant coach.
- Tezale Archie (Fresno, Calif./Hoover HS) switched from #22 to #12 for his fifth season and made the All-WCC first team in 2000. The guard averaged 9.6 points and 6.1 assists that season.

- John Furlong (Los Angeles, Calif./Fremont HS) was an All-American in 1951 after leading the team in scoring (13.5 ppg) and rebounding (7.7 rpg). The center was named all-conference as both a junior and a senior. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.
- Jelani Gardner (West Covina, Calif./California) made the All-WCC first team in both 1998 and 1999. The guard played two seasons for the Waves after transferring in and averaged 14.0 points, 4.9 assists and 4.0 rebounds over 59 games.
- Kameron Edwards (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Etiwanda HS) made the WCC All-Freshman team in 2016 before switching to #20 the following season.

- Dick Skophammer (Saugus, Calif./Hart HS) made the All-WCC second team in 1975. He averaged 16.2 points and 7.4 rebounds that season. Over his four-year career he accumulated 1,412 points and 874 rebounds (once the school record). The guard/forward earned the WCC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in 1976. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1983.
- Dane Suttle (Los Angeles, Calif./Fremont HS) wore #14 for his final three seasons. He earned All-WCC first team in 1982 and 1983, as well as co-WCC Player of the Year and All-American honors in 1983, and held the school's career scoring record for more than 30 years with 1,701 points. The guard played in the NBA for two seasons. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.
- Chris Reyes (La Verne, Calif./Damien HS/Utah) made All-WCC honorable mention in 2017 in his only season as a grad transfer. The forward averaged 13.4 points and 7.9 rebounds that season.

- Bob Warlick (Hickory, N.C./Pueblo JC) was an All-American in 1962 and was All-WCC in both of his two seasons playing for the Waves. The guard led the team in scoring both years, including at 17.3 points per game as a senior. He played four seasons in the NBA. Warlick was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1980.
- Donny Moore (San Jose, Calif./West Valley College) had an impressive two seasons at point guard after transferring in, averaging 4.8 assists in 58 games in 1986-87 and 1987-88. He recorded 16 assists in a game (a school record that has since been broken) against LMU in 1988.
- Mychel Thompson (Portland, Ore./Stoneridge Prep) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2010 and 2011. The forward is Pepperdine's all-time leader in games played (128) and he scored 1,413 career points. He played in the NBA briefly for one season.
- Kessler Edwards (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Etiwanda HS) earned All-WCC second team honors in 2020, averaging 13.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and a WCC-best 1.9 blocks as a sophomore.

- Terrance Johnson (Dallas, Texas/Duncanville HS) made the All-WCC first team in 2003 and was honorable mention in 2002 and 2004. The guard is #3 all-time at Pepperdine in three-pointers made with 221 and scored 1,277 points in his three seasons.
- Lorne Jackson (Simi Valley, Calif./Simi Valley HS) wore number #20 for the first four of his five years before switching to #0. He was All-WCC honorable mention in 2011 wearing this number. The guard finished with 1,297 career points.
- Kameron Edwards (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Etiwanda HS) just capped off a terrific four years wearing #20, making the All-WCC second team in 2020 and honorable mention in 2019. The forward finished with 1,318 career points and averaged 16.2 points and 7.4 rebounds last season.

- Dana Jones (Los Angeles, Calif./North Hollywood HS) was the WCC Player of the Year in 1993 and made All-WCC all four years (1991-94), including the first team in each of his final three seasons. He's still Pepperdine's all-time leader in rebounds (1,031) and steals (211) and was second in scoring (1,677) when he finished playing. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010.
- Robert Turner (Buena Park, Calif./Western HS) scored 452 points between 2002-05. The forward would later go on to a starring role with the Harlem Globetrotters.
- Brendan Lane (Rocklin, Calif./Rocklin HS/UCLA) was the WCC Defensive Player of the Year and All-WCC honorable mention in 2014. He averaged 13.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in his one season as a graduate transfer.

- Ricardo Brown (St. Louis, Mo./Yavapai JC) earned All-WCC first team honors in 1979 and 1980. He averaged 18.7 points over 60 career games, second all-time at Pepperdine, and scored 1,124 career points in his two seasons. The guard had a long professional career in the Philippines and with the Philippines National Team. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1996.
- Craig Davis (Oxnard, Calif./Hueneme HS) wore #22 for the first four (1986-89) of his five seasons before switching to #5. The guard holds the program career record for three-pointers made (274) and scored 1,619 points.
- Tezale Archie (Fresno, Calif./Hoover HS) wore #22 for the first four (1996-99) of his five seasons before switching to #12. The guard finished with career totals of 718 points and 379 assists.
- Glen McGowan (Los Angeles, Calif./Notre Dame Prep) had most of his success when he was wearing #2, but he was All-WCC honorable mention in 2002 wearing #22. The forward averaged 9.8 points that season.

- Joy Pace (Montebello, Calif.) played in 1943-44, then went into the military, then returned to play three more seasons between 1946-48. He led the team in scoring his final two seasons, including 12.9 points per game as a senior. He was Pepperdine's first NBA Draft pick, by the Philadelphia Warriors in 1948. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1983.
- Tony Fuller (Detroit, Mich./Vincennes JC) was All-WCC second team in 1980. He averaged 19.5 points that season and would score a total of 982 points in his two seasons. He would later play in the NBA for one season and would become the Waves' head coach.
- Tommie Prince (Compton, Calif./Arizona State) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2000 and was the WCC Defensive Player of the Year in 1999. The guard had four-year career totals of 982 points, 481 rebounds and 202 assists.
- Chase Griffin (Sammamish, Wash./Eastlake HS) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2007. The guard averaged 15.7 points that season and scored 754 points in his four-year career.

- Dennis Johnson (Los Angeles, Calif./Harbor HS) wore #24 and earned All-WCC first team honors in his lone season (1975-76) with the Waves. He averaged 15.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists. The guard went on to play in the NBA for 14 seasons and won three world championships while playing in five All-Star games. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1981. He was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.

- Roylin "Boot" Bond (Macon, Ga./Northeast Macon HS) switched from #00 to #25 for his final three seasons (1980-82) and he earned All-American honors in 1982 and All-WCC first team honors in 1981 and 1982. The guard scored 1,501 career points and averaged 18 points per game as a junior and senior.

- Flintie Ray Williams (Los Angeles, Calif./Dorsey HS) made the All-WCC second team in 1977 and was honorable mention in 1976. He scored 741 points in his two seasons with the Waves.
- Lamond Murray Jr. (Los Angeles, Calif./Bishop Montgomery HS) made the All-WCC first team in 2017 and the second team in 2016. The guard/forward scored 1,492 career points and led the WCC in scoring at 21.4 points per game as a senior.

- Marques Johnson (Flint, Mich./Indian Hills CC) is the highest-scoring player to wear #31, as he had a total of 686 points in the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seasons and averaged 12.7 points in 54 games.

- Brian Goorjian (La Crescenta, Calif./Crescenta Valley HS), future Olympic head coach for Australia, wore #32 from 1974-76.
- Dwayne Polee (Los Angeles, Calif./UNLV) was the WCC Player of the Year in 1985 and 1986 and an All-American in 1986. The guard/forward scored 1,274 career points and averaged 15.7 points as a junior and senior. He played briefly in the NBA.
- Tom Lewis (Garden Grove, Calif./USC) was All-WCC first team in 1988 and 1989. The forward finished his career at #4 on Pepperdine's career scoring list with 1,575 points over three seasons. He averaged 22.9 points as a sophomore.
- Kelvin Gibbs (Bellflower, Calif./Bellflower HS) was All-WCC first team in 2000 and 2001 and honorable mention in 1999. The forward scored 1,251 career points in four seasons and averaged 15.1 points and 8.2 rebounds as a senior.
- Jimmy Miggins (Canton, Miss./Los Angeles City College) was All-WCC first team in 2002 and 2003. The forward averaged 14.9 and 15.4 points his two seasons and scored a total of 879 points.
- Ricky Fois (Olbia, Italy/Liceo Linguistico Oblia), now the Director of Player Development with the Phoenix Suns, wore #32 in 2007-08.

- Bryan Hill (Carson, Calif./Banning HS) made the All-WCC first team in 1997 and 1998. The forward scored 1,193 career points in his four seasons.

- Bobby Sands (Trenton, N.J./Mercer CC) made the All-WCC second team in 1969 and honorable mention in 1970. The guard scored 913 points in his two seasons.
- Orlando Phillips (San Francisco, Calif./City College of San Francisco) was the WCC's co-Player of the Year in 1983 and was All-WCC first team in 1982. He averaged 20.0 points and 9.6 rebounds as a senior. He scored 1,035 points in his two seasons.
- Eric White (San Francisco, Calif./Sacred Heart HS) made three consecutive All-WCC first teams from 1985 to 1987. The forward averaged 19.3 points and 7.7 rebounds as a senior and scored 1,672 career points. He played parts of two seasons in the NBA.
- Geoff Lear (West Covina, Calif./Bishop Amat HS) switched from #3 to #34 and made the All-WCC first team for the second and third time in his career in 1991 and 1992. He averaged 18.5 points and 9.8 rebounds as a junior and 16.7 and 7.1 as a senior. The forward was third all-time in scoring when he finished playing with 1,644 career points.
- Gerald Brown (Phoenix, Ariz./Hayden HS) made the All-WCC first team three times between 1995 and 1998. The guard averaged between 16.5 and 17.8 points each of those three seasons. He scored 1,467 career points. Brown went on to play in the NBA for one season, and is currently an assistant coach with the Waves.
- Boomer Brazzle (Portland, Ore./Benson Tech HS) made the All-WCC first team in 2002 and was honorable mention in 2003. The forward averaged 12.0 points as a senior and 11.2 as a junior.
- Yakhouba Diawara (Paris, France/Southern Idaho JC) was All-WCC first team in 2004. He averaged 18.9 points and 6.6 rebounds that season, and posted a total of 697 points in his two seasons. The forward went on to play four seasons in NBA and in the Olympics for France.

- Doug Christie (Seattle, Wash./Rainier Beach HS) switched from #25 to #35 for his final two seasons and was an All-American and the WCC Player of the Year in both 1991 and 1992. The guard/forward averaged 19.1 points and 5.2 rebounds as a junior and 19.5 points and 5.9 rebounds as a senior. He scored 1,392 career points in his three seasons. He recorded the only triple-double in Pepperdine history with a 21-point, 10-rebound, 11-assist effort against Saint Mary's in 1991. He went on to play in the NBA for 15 seasons and made four All-Defensive teams. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009.
- Marc McDowell (Gilbert, Ariz./Mesa CC) was All-WCC honorable mention in 1997. The forward averaged 10.3 points that season and scored 692 points in his three years with the Waves.

- Ollie Matson (Los Angeles, Calif./Daniel Murphy HS) earned All-WCC first team honors in 1976, was honorable mention in 1977 and made the second team in 1978. The forward averaged between 14.2 and 15.7 points all four of his seasons and had career totals of 1,501 points and 881 rebounds. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1984.

- Taylor Darby (San Marcos, Calif./Mission Hills HS), who wore #41 for his final three seasons (2010-12), scored 997 career points.
- Matthew Atewe (Toronto, Ontario, Canada/Notre Dame Prep/Washington) had one solid season in 2017-18 as a grad transfer, averaging 6.8 points and 6.0 rebounds.

- Tom Egerer (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Mira Costa HS) was All-WCC honorable mention in 1969. The forward averaged 12.9 points that year and scored 575 total points in his two seasons.
- Art Allen (Pittsburgh, Pa./L.A. Southwest JC) was All-WCC honorable mention in 1977. He averaged 14.2 points that season and scored 786 total points in his two years.
- Scott McCollum (Covina, Calif./Covina HS) scored more than 900 career points from 1980-84.

- David Patten (Placentia, Calif./El Dorado HS) appeared in 20 games wearing #43 in 2002-03 and averaged 5.0 points per contest.

- Hiram Peterson (San Francisco, Calif./Mission HS) was All-WCC honorable mention in 1971. The forward averaged 11.9 points and 9.4 rebounds that season and scored 627 points in his three years.
- Ray Ellis (San Gabriel, Calif./San Gabriel HS) was All-WCC second team in 1978. The center averaged 14.9 points and 11.0 rebounds as a junior, and had four-year career totals of 977 points and 848 rebounds.
- Anthony Frederick (Gardena, Calif./Santa Monica College) made the All-WCC first team in 1985. The forward averaged 11.8 points and 7.3 rebounds that season. Despite playing only two years with the Waves, he held Pepperdine's career blocked shots record (145) for a while. He went on to play in the NBA for three seasons.
- Corbin Moore (Cypress, Calif./Los Alamitos HS) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2012. The center averaged 10.4 points and 8.6 rebounds as a senior and scored 645 points over his four seasons.
- Malte Kramer (Frieburg, Germany/Cuesta College) was an Academic All-American and co-Valedictorian of Pepperdine in 2014. He played two seasons and scored a total of 138 points.

- Dexter Howard (San Francisco, Calif./McAteer HS) made the All-WCC first team in both 1989 and 1990. He averaged 15.9 points and 6.9 rebounds as a junior and 17.9 and 6.0 as a senior. The forward scored 1,546 career points.
- Jett Raines (Coppell, Texas/Coppell HS) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2015 and 2016. The forward scored 1,037 career points and averaged 12.8 points per game as a senior.

- Marcos Leite (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil/Sao Luiz) earned All-American honors in all three of his seasons (1974-76). He was the 1976 WCC Player of the Year and made the All-WCC first team twice. The center scored 1,119 career points and averaged 18.7 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. He was a three-time Olympian for Brazil. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013.
- Levy Middlebrooks (San Francisco, Calif./St. Ignatius HS) was the 1988 WCC Player of the Year and made the All-WCC first team in 1987 and 1988. He averaged 19.6 points and 10.7 rebounds as a senior and had one of the greatest single-game performances in Pepperdine history with a 40-point, 25-rebound effort against LMU. The forward finished with 1,548 career points over his four years. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015.
- David Lalazarian (Tustin, Calif./Notre Dame) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2001. The forward averaged 10.0 points per game that season.
- Jarrad Henry (Kansas City, Kan./Bishop Miege HS) ranks among the school's all-time top shot blockers, as the center accumulating 120 of them between the 2005 and 2008 seasons.

- John Rettberg (Los Angeles, Calif./Washington HS) earned All-WCC honorable mention in 1958 and 1959. The guard averaged 11.2 points per game as a senior. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009.
- Steve Ebey (South Pasadena, Calif./Alhambra HS) made the All-WCC first team in 1968 and was honorable mention in 1967. He led the conference in scoring at 22.9 points per game as a senior. The forward scored 1,282 points over his three seasons. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1982.
- Danny Ramsey (Los Angeles, Calif./Dorsey HS) was All-WCC honorable mention in both 1977 and 1979. The forward scored 830 career points over his four seasons.
- Victor Anger (Oxnard, Calif./Channel Islands HS) made the All-WCC first team in 1984. He averaged 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds that season. The forward/center held Pepperdine's career blocked shots record for a couple of years with 138, and he finished his four-year career with 1,076 points.
- Derek Noether (Fresno, Calif./Clovis West HS) made the All-WCC first team in 1993. He averaged 11.7 points and 6.1 rebounds that season. The center scored 917 points in his four-year career.
- Nick Sheppard (Lake Charles, La./LSU) was All-WCC honorable mention in 2000. The center averaged 9.1 points and 6.7 rebounds that season.
- Will Kimble (San Bernardino, Calif./Pacific HS) played three seasons for the Waves (2001-03) and later returned as an assistant coach.

- Cedric Suitt (Atlanta, Ga./Mays HS) was the WCC Defensive Player of the Year in 2002. The center is the Waves' all-time leading shot blocker with 182, including a single-season record 96 in 2001-02.

- Nick Buzolich was an All-American in 1944. The center led the Waves in scoring in each of his three seasons and scored 1,464 career points, at the time the school record. He was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1980.
- Hugh Faulkner (Anaheim, Calif./Santa Ana JC) was an All-American in 1951. He averaged 9.8 points and 13.2 rebounds that season and his 434 rebounds that season is still the school record. The center was inducted into the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 1982.
