Haley Thompson

Haley Thompson, a former volleyball player at Central Missouri, rejoined the Pepperdine men's volleyball program as its director of operations in 2023. 

She also currently serves as the director of outreach for Legacy Youth Leadership, based in Los Angeles, Calif.

She previously served in the role at Pepperdine both the men's and women's indoor programs from 2018-21.  Prior to Pepperdine, Thompson served as the Director of Operations for the University of Missouri women’s volleyball team in 2017.  While there, she prepared travel arrangements, tracked program expenditures, assisted the coaching staff with official and unofficial recruiting visits, aided with Point Mizzou donor programs and gifts and served as camp director. 

Thompson graduated in 2016 from Central Missouri. She was a two-time AVCA All-American and earned MIAA Scholar Athlete honors and a spot on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll during her time as a student-athlete.  Thompson served on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student-Athlete Advisory Committees.

In 2016, she served as an intern with Thirst Project, where she educated 7,000-plus students about the global water crisis through presentations and activated youth to raise awareness about the issue.  Also in 2016, Thompson worked as the Women’s Director for Camp Conquest, where she served children and adults with special needs with group sessions, bible studies and staff training to ensure emotional, spiritual and mental health of staff members.

Thompson graduated with a degree in child and family development and an emphasis in business administration at UCM.
