CLUB: Played for Rochester Pacebootlegger Volleyball Club for 12 years, helping the team to a third-place finish at the BJNC 16 Open Division and East Coast Championship titles in 2010, 2015 and 2017.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School, located in Rochester, N.Y., in 2017 ... Lettered four years for coaches Kevin O’Dell and Dr. Christopher Parks ... Made the AVCA High School All-American second team in 2017 ... A 2017 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection ... Named All-Greater Rochester and to the Section V All-Tournament team in his senior campaign ... Earned All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year, Section V Tournament MVP and New York State All-Tournament Team in his junior and sophomore seasons ... PERSONAL: Graduated with a degree in sport administration in 2021, and is now pursuing a master’s degree in American studies ... Son of Cal and Tammy Wickens … Father is the head men’s and women’s volleyball coach at Nazareth College ... Mother played volleyball at Rochester Institute of Technology ... Has two siblings, Madisson and Owen ... Lists his biggest sports hero as his father because “he is one of the main reasons why volleyball has grown to be as big as it is in Rochester.”
