PEPPERDINE 2017: Appeared in 30 matches and 106 sets, while starting in 12 matches in her senior campaign … Amassed a .213 hitting percentage after averaging 1.80 kills/set (191-57-628) … Tallied 2.23 points/set (236.5), 0.82 blocks/set (87, 4 solos) and 0.40 digs/set (42) … Led the team in hitting percentages and blocks during three matches each … Had four matches with double-figure kills including a career-best 14 kills against Gonzaga (Nov. 4) … Marked a career-high .471 hitting percentage (9-1-17) at San Francisco (Nov. 11) and five digs at Portland (Oct. 7) … Posted a season-best six blocks at Portland (Oct. 7).
PEPPERDINE 2016: Appeared in 23 matches and 81 total sets for the Waves … Amassed 1.36 kills/set, 0.32 digs/set and 0.67 blocks/set … Tabbed 110 kills on a .172 hitting output, along with 26 digs and 54 total blocks … Had two double-figure kills matches, including her Pepperdine career-best 12 kills and .286 attacking percentage against Gonzaga on Oct. 6 … Led the Waves in blocks three times, in kills twice and hitting percentage once … Had a career-best eight blocks against UCLA on Sep. 13.
ARIZONA: Lettered two seasons for University of Arizona, a member of the Pac-12, from 2013-15 under Head Coach Dave Rubio … In her sophomore campaign in 2014, Harris appeared in 102 sets and recorded 218 kills (2.14 kills/set) … She hit for a .226 success rate on 658 swings and was fourth on the team with 54 blocks (0.53 blocks/set) … She posted a team-best 22 solo blocks and amassed 43 total digs throughout the season … She finished the year third on the team with 256 total points … She posted 19 kills against both Arizona State and Washington State and put in 13 kills on an errorless 28 swings against Utah for a career-high .464 hitting percentage … Posted a career-best seven blocks, including three solo blocks, against Oregon State … Team highlights including sweeping top-ranked USC in 2013 and hosting the first round of the NCAA Championships in 2014 … In the classroom, Harris was a Pac-12 All-Academic second team selection.
CLUB: Played for Empire Volleyball Club for six seasons and helped the team earn a Junior Open bid during her time with the program.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Casa Grande High in Petaluma, Calif. in 2013 … Lettered three seasons as an outside hitter in the North Bay League under Head Coach Jillian Fahy after suffering a broken ankle throughout her freshman campaign … In three years, compiled 1,142 kills, 279 digs and 112 blocks … In her senior campaign, earned UnderArmour All-American first team and Mizuno/Volleyball Magazine High School All-American third team honors … She was named All-Empire Large School Volleyball Player of the Year, co-MVP of the North Bay League and an All-Empire first team honoree … She tabbed 526 kills for 6.00 kills/set and a .446 hitting percentage … In her junior season, she earned All-Empire first team honors and in her sophomore year was named to All-Empire second team and All-Sonoma County first team … She holds the CGH school record for most kills in three sets with 31 … In the classroom, she was a member of the honor roll.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jeanne Young and Rogue Harris … Plans to major in Sociology at Pepperdine and has goal aspirations of becoming a professional volleyball player … Her mother, Jeanne, played basketball at Hawaii and her father, Rogue, played basketball at both University of San Francisco and Hawaii … When asked why she chose Pepperdine, Harris stated the “coaching staff, team chemistry and school atmosphere” were tops on her list … Said the most interesting thing about her is that she “has no sense of smell.”
