PEPPERDINE 2017: Played in 31 matches and 108 total sets with 13 starts as a sophomore … Amassed 26 aces (0.24 sa/s) and 224 digs (2.07 d/s) … Amassed 408 total receptions attempts with only 21 errors for a .949 success rate … Led her team in aces in seven matches and digs in four matches … Posted six games with double-figure digs and two with over 20 digs … Marked a season-best four aces twice against Gonzaga (Nov. 4) and Portland (Nov. 2) … Tallied a season-high 25 digs against BYU (Sep. 26).
PEPPERDINE 2016: Appeared in 18 matches and 55 sets for the Waves this season … Tallied 20 kills and 13 errors on 73 swings to average 0.36 kills/set and a .096 hitting percentage … Picked up nine aces to tab 0.16 aces/set and dug up 1.60 digs/set after posting 88 total digs on the season … Had a season-high nine kills, 29 attacks and a .103 hitting percentage against Portland at home on Oct. 8 … Produced a season-best two aces and 14 digs at Gonzaga on Nov. 5 and put up another two aces at home against San Francisco on Nov. 12 … Tabbed double-figure digs on five separate occasions and led team in aces in one match.
USA VOLLEYBALL/CLUB: Played for the 2015 USA Junior Olympic Tournament with her Club Utah 17’s squad, finishing 13th in the nation … The team travelled to qualifiers in nine states … Has been playing club volleyball since 2011 for Utah Ice Club Volleyball (12s AAU Champion), Morgan Juniors Volleyball Club, Utah Juniors Club Volleyball (15s AAU Champion), Utah Ice Club Volleyball, Wildcats Club, Club Utah and Club V.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Morgan High School in Morgan, Utah in 2016 … Lettered four seasons as an outside hitter at MHS in the Utah 3A league under Head Coach Liz Wizcombe … In her senior campaign, garnered UnderArmour All-American honorable mention, Gatorade Player of the Year (Utah), MaxPreps Small School All-American first team, Utah Academic All-State and PrepVolleyball Academic All-American second team honors … Also in the 2015-16 season, she posted 4.6 kills/set with 390 total kills, 3.9 receptions/set with 333 total receptions, 2.7 digs/set with 232 total digs and served successfully for a .950 percentage with 33 aces … In her junior season, she was tabbed a Utah 3A All-State first team honoree as well as earning Utah 3A MVP status … In the sophomore season, she also picked up Utah 3A All-State honorable mention accolades … In 2015, the team posted a perfect 32-0 record overall after winning 82-of-85 total sets played, and winning the Utah 3A State Champion title … MHS was ranked the top program in Utah and MaxPreps ranked the team 10th in the nation overall … Farr also lettered in basketball … On the academic side, she earned 2015 Academic All-State honors and was ranked in the top spot in her 2016 graduating class. She was the president of the National Honor Society and earned the Varsity Debate letter award, an English Department Award and the French Merit Award, while competing as a mathlete.
PERSONAL: Daughter of William Farr and Shelly Farr … Has one younger sister Hannah … Plans to major in Sports Medicine at Pepperdine … Career goals include going into Orthopedic Medicine … Her mother, Shelly, was on the rodeo team in college … Chose to attend Pepperdine because “[the school] offers the best of the best to me for a college experience: great location, great academics and a great volleyball program” … States the most interesting thing about her is the fact that she has had “exposure as a granddaughter of a holocaust survivor, who survived hardships at the same age [she] is now” and said this experience “[gave her] a strong desire to help others.”
