No. 4 Men’s Volleyball Secures No. 2 Seed in MPSF Tournament

PROVO, Utah. – The No. 4 Pepperdine men's volleyball team (22-5, 13-1 MPSF) will be the No. 2 seed in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament hosted by No. 8 BYU, the conference announced Sunday afternoon.
Splitting the regular season championship with No. 1 UCLA Saturday night, the Waves were slated as the No. 2 seed in the tournament by a head coaches vote. Changing format this year, the MPSF tournament will consist of eight teams with all four first-round matches taking place Wednesday, April 22. The semifinals are slated for Thursday, April 23 with the Championship Match having a first serve time of 6 p.m. pst Saturday, April 25.
All hosted in the Smith Fieldhouse by BYU, the Waves have the first game Wednesday morning, playing the seventh-seeded Jessup Warriors (11-15, 5-9 MPSF) at 10 a.m. pst.
The quarterfinals and semifinals will be on B1G+ (subscription required) with the championship match to be broadcast on Big Ten Network. Live stats for all Pepperdine matches will be available at www.pepperdinewaves.com

ABOUT PEPPERDINE MEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Pepperdine men's volleyball boasts one of the richest histories in collegiate volleyball, with five NCAA National Championships. Four of those championships came under the direction of Hall of Fame coach Marv Dunphy who totaled 612 victories in 34 seasons at the helm. With 19 NCAA Appearances and 63 All-Americans, the program has consistently been a destination for top talent across the country. Under current head coach Jonathan Winder, the Waves reached the NCAA Final Four in his third season at the helm in 2025.
