POMONA, Calif. – Pepperdine track wrapped up their day at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational this evening. The Waves had four top-ten finishes, including a new record in the 4x400m relay—their final event of the competition.
"The team had a solid day today with a good number of personal bests," head coach Lauren Floris said. "It was so special to cap the day off with another school record in the 4x4 as these ladies continue to chip away at that sub 3:50 mark!"
At 1:02.48 Brittany Rivas earned a silver finish in the 100m hurdles, matching the team's highest finish this Saturday.
Annie Trapp did it all, finishing eighth in the 400m hurdles (1:06.41) and ninth in the 100m hurdles (15.44).Â
Trapp was also a member of the record-setting 4x400m relay team. Joining her were Lexi Thomas, Lia Cooper, and Isabella Reyes (3:50.69). They were the second squad to cross the finish line.
