MALIBU, Calif. — No. 8 Pepperdine women's golf will head to the Fresno State Classic March 2-3, held at Fort Washington Golf Club in Fresno, Calif.
The first two rounds will be played Monday as both days will see a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The Waves will be off holes 1-4 in the opening round, pairing up with Cal Poly and host Fresno State.
11 teams comprise the field with 70 players in total competing. The Par 72 course will play at 6,461 yards.
It marks the second time that the Waves have contested the Fresno State Classic, earning a third place team finish of 21 teams in the 2024 rendition, which was held at Copper River Country Club.

"The Bruin Wave was a great start to a stretch of four tournaments in four weeks that includes our Spring Break," said head coach Laurie Gibbs. "We look forward to everyone gaining confidence and consistency in their game as we prepare for the WCC and postseason."

The Waves enter play ranked No. 8 in The Differential NCAA Head to Head rankings, the criteria used for NCAA postseason selection, and are currently No. 10 in the Scoreboard team rankings.
A trio of Waves enter ranked in the top-100 of the Scoreboard individual rankings, featuring Kylee Choi (No. 12), Eunseo Choi (No. 41) and Jeneath Wong (No. 80).
Kylee Choi logged a third place finish at the Bruin Wave Invitational this past week at -5, while Eunseo Choi (-1) logged a ninth-place finish with Wong (E) in 11th. The Waves earned a second place team finish overall, trailing only No. 1 Stanford.
The Pepperdine lineup remains unchanged, as the Waves have now earned top-four team finishes in three of their past four tournaments dating back to the fall.
Pepperdine will head to the Yale Invitational West next week, held Mar. 9-10 from the PGA West - Nicklaus Course in La Quinta, Calif.
