No. 8 Women's Golf Readies to Co-Host Bruin Wave Invitational

MALIBU, Calif. — No. 8 Pepperdine women's golf is set to co-host the Bruin Wave Invitational at Valencia Country Club in Valencia, Calif., held from Feb. 23-24.

The Waves co-host the 54-hole tournament alongside UCLA, with 36 holes of action teeing off at 7:30 a.m. Monday, with Tuesday's final round also teeing off at 7:30 a.m. The par-72 course will play at 6,328 yards as a distinguished field of 14 programs will contest the tournament.

Live scoring and full results for the tournament can be viewed here throughout the week. The course is also open for fans and spectators to catch the action.

The Waves enter play ranked No. 8 in The Differential NCAA Head to Head rankings, the criteria used for NCAA postseason selection, and are currently No. 10 in the Scoreboard team rankings.

"The players are excited to play an excellent championship golf course for the Bruin Wave Invitational at Valencia Country Club," said head coach Laurie Gibbs. "We appreciate having the opportunity this past week for the players to practice indoors at SVN2 in Malibu. The rains have gone, the course is in great shape and the temperature is going to be in the 70s on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for the tournament. Having Capillus as our presenting sponsor has greatly enhanced every aspect of the tournament for the student-athletes."
