VALENCIA, Calif. — No. 8 Pepperdine women's golf shot one-under par across the opening two rounds at the Bruin Wave Invitational Monday, sitting in solo third place heading into tomorrow's final round.
The 2026 Bruin Wave Invitational Presented by Capillus is co-hosted by Pepperdine and UCLA at Valencia Country Club in Valencia, Calif.
Three Waves sit in the top-15 individually as well following 36 holes. Pepperdine shot -1 as a team in the opening round (287) before shooting even par as a unit in the afternoon's second round.
No. 1 Stanford paced the field (281-280) in what was a near-perfect weather day on the course, as the Cardinal hold an eight-stroke lead.
Kylee Choi is currently tied four fourth individually to pace the Waves. Choi recorded rounds of 71 and 70 on the day and sits three-under par.
Jeneath Wong also enters the final round in the top-ten, after shooting one-under par on the day. Wong shot an even par 72 in the opening round before going under par with a 71 in the second round.
Eunseo Choi carded a 71 in the afternoon which followed a 73 in the morning, putting her at even par for the tournament. Choi sits in a tie for 13th on the individual leaderboard.
Yingzhi Zhu carded a one-under 71 in the opening round, and is in 24th currently at +4.
Grace Anderson sits in a tie for 34th at +9, contributing a 76 to the Pepperdine team mark in the second round.
Competing individually,
Irene Kim (78-78) and
Nishna Patel (75-81) each sit at +12 through two rounds of play.

The Waves will tee off of hole one at 8:50 a.m. in tomorrow's final round, in the final groupings alongside Stanford and UCLA.
