Men's Golf in Seventh After Round Two of the Amer Ari Invitational

KOHALA COAST, Hawaii. – The Pepperdine men's golf team is tied for 7th after the second round of the Amer Ari Invitational. The Waves shot a 9-under 279 on the 6,913-yard par-72 Mauna Lani North Course in the second round today.

Pepperdine was highlighted by Brady Siravo who shot a personal season-best 5-under 67 today. Siravo is tied for 9th heading into the final round.

#9 Oklahoma State is leading the tournament at 43-under, while #6 North Carolina is two behind at 41-under and #38 Oregon rounds out the top-three at 36-under.

PLAYER SCORES
  • Junior Brady Siravo (Sacramento, Calif.) carded a team-best 5-under 67 and is tied for 9th with a two-round score of 135 (-9). Siravo collected an impressive seven birdies today, including birdies on three of his first four holes.
  • Junior Mahanth Chirravuri (Chandler, Ariz.) posted a 2-under 70 today. Chirravuri was 1-over through 13, but found a rhythm to finish the round and birdied three of his last five holes. He's tied for 20th heading into the final round with a two-day score of 137 (-7).
  • Graduate Nathan Han (Somers, N.Y.) is tied for 33rd heading into tomorrow's final round with a two-round score of 138 (-6).  Han birdied hole 12 on his opening hole of the day before eagling the 498-yard par-5 15th to move to 3-under. He ended the round with a 1-under 71 this afternoon. 
  • Sophomore William Walsh (San Mateo, Calif.) is tied for 62nd after a 1-over 73 on Friday and has a two-day score of 142 (-2). Walsh earned four birdies in the second round.
  • Sophomore Byungho Lee (Seoul, South Korea) is even and tied for 77th with a two-round score of 144. Lee birdied his first and last hole of the day on his way to a 1-under 71 today. In total, he collected three birdies in the second round.
  • Competing as an individual, sophomore Kristoffer Kuvaas (Houston, Texas) is tied for 53rd with a two-day score of 141 (-3). Kuvaas shot a 1-over 73 with four birdies in the second round.
