SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Pepperdine women's soccer's (11-6-2, 8-2-1 WCC)
Peyton Leonard was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, the conference announced Thursday afternoon.
Leonard, a Ladera Ranch native, is a junior sports administration major. With a near-perfect 4.0, Leonard is at the top of not just the soccer team academically, but all of Pepperdine athletics.
On the field, Leonard has played in every match, starting all but the first of the season. With four goals and three assists, two of the junior's goals have come as match-winners. This is Leonard's first all-academic selection, notching her second all-conference selection yesterday as a first-team member, making the all-freshman team two seasons ago.
