Karina Gonzalez.
Jillian Medvecky,
Kyra Murphy, and
Peyton Leonard were all named to the College Sports Communications All-District Team, announced Tuesday afternoon.
To earn a nod on the all-district team, student-athletes must maintain at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA in the most recently completed term (spring 2025) and be a major contributor on the field, participating in at least 75 percent of matches.
Murphy earned the same honor two seasons ago, while this is Gonzalez, Leonard, and Medvecky's first appearance on the All-District list. This is Leonard's second academic honor of the season after earning a spot on the West Coast Conference all-academic team.
Leonard also made an appearance on the All-WCC First Team, while Murphy notched a second team recognition with Gonzalez earning an honorable mention.
Last season, less than five percent of student-athletes earned this honor across all sports and divisions.
All four athletes were advanced to the Academic All-America ballot, to be voted on by CSC members and announced Dec. 16. Pepperdine is one of 38 division I schools to have four or more members advance to the All-American ballot, and only one of two in the West Coast Conference, joining Santa Clara.
