PULLMAN, Wash. – Pepperdine women's soccer (9-5-2, 6-1-1 WCC) will play Washington State (5-6-5, 3-3-2 WCC) Saturday night at 7pm at Lower Soccer Field.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Waves suffered the sole conference loss of the season in Malibu against Saint Mary's.
- Pepperdine was shut out for just the second time this season, losing 0-1.
- The Waves outshot the Gaels 16-13, including 5-3 on goal.
GAME NOTES
- Pepperdine leads the conference with 37 goals scored by 14 different players.
- Quinonez leads the squad with nine goals, while Wynalda leads the team and conference with eight assists.
- Ariana Markey, Alex Pendleton, Layla Simon, Sarah Spears and Lily Stewart have all scored their first collegiate goals this season.
- Through 16 matches, Julia Quinonez leads the team in points with 21, scoring nine goals and notching three assists.
- Surpassing her stats from two seasons ago where she was the WCC Freshman of the Year, Quinonez is second in the West Coast Conference in goals with nine and second in points with 21.
- As one of the captains leading the team through 16 matches, Kyra Murphy cemented her name in the record books with five straight matches with a goal or assist (9/7 - 10/4), tying for third in program history.
- With 19 starts and six goals throughout her collegiate career entering this season, Murphy has over doubled her career points, with 13 so far this season.
- Tatum Wynalda sits at 33rd in the nation for shot accuracy with a .579 on-goal shot percentage.
- Leading the team with eight assists, Wynalda has had a hand in one-third of the Waves goals this season with four herself.
- Wynalda is tied with Tabitha LaParl to lead Pepperdine with two match-winning goals, both coming in conference matchups against Seattle and Pacific.
- Wynalda becomes just the 13th Wave in history to have two or more multi-assist games in a single season after the two at San Diego, currently just one match behind the top spot of three matches.
- Starting in every game, Jillian Medvecky has collected 64 saves this season with seven shutouts, averaging just over four saves a match.
- Medvecky earned her first start freshman year against #3 UCLA and she has not lost the spot since making seven saves in the 1-0 upset win.
SERIES HISTORY
- In just seven matches against the Cougars, Pepperdine is an even 3-3-1, including 0-1 on the road.
- Last season, the Waves won 3-2 in Malibu off the foot of Tatum Wynalda.
- The sole loss in Pullman came in 2004, a shutout 0-1 loss.
- This will be the Waves last conference matchup with the Cougars as they head to the Pac-12 next season.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
- Going 5-6-5 on the season, with a 3-3-2 conference record, WSU looks to come out on top on senior day.
- Notable wins for the Cougars include a 4-2 win against Seattle and a 2-0 victory against LMU, both coming at home.
- Last time out, WSU suffered a 0-1 loss to Portland on the road.
- Jordyn Young leads the squad with four goals while Isabelle Wright has a squad-high four assists so far this season.
