QUOTABLES
"Really thrilled with how the waves handled the last day of competition," head coach
Ellie Monobe said. "From executing details and beginning to apply race strategy, we were able to sneak away with a win over CSUB in the final events; which just continues to show our program's improvement over the last three years. In addition, this program has competed five out of the last 10 days which I know is setting ourselves up for what I hope to be a very rewarding championship."
"Our season has just begun, but I am already very impressed with how much more comfortable and composed we looked in competition," diving coach
Monique Demaisip said. "Execution was strong on 1m today, and I think that showed in the results. I am looking forward to these next few weeks of training to really focus on details and some upgrades on the boards."
NEXT UP
The Waves will have two weeks off before returning to action at home at
Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool on Saturday, October 26 in a dual meet against Westmont at 11 a.m.
