Box Score MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine women's soccer team finished with a 1-1 tie against Harvard on Sunday afternoon in Malibu at Tari Frahm Rokus Field.
The Waves (2-0-4) held a steady pace during the match, outshooting the Crimson (2-1-1) in the first half, 4-3. The squads went into half at 0-0, and Pepperdine then answered shortly into the second half as
Kam Pickett found the back of the net in the 64th minute. Harvard quickly answered within a minute, scoring an equalizer goal.

Julianna Duckett (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Rancho Cucamonga HS) found the ball at midfield and sent a quick pass to the right side where sophomore midfielder
Karina Gonzalez (Sanger, Calif./Hallmark Charter School) picked it up. Gonzalez looked over her right shoulder to find redshirt junior defender
Kam Pickett (Santa Barbara, Calif./Dos Pueblos HS) who ran the ball down the center lane. At the top of the box, Pickett sent a rocket to the top right corner where it reached the back of the net. This is Pickett's first goal of the season and first career goal.
Harvard 65': Olof Kristinsdottir of Harvard sent a pass on the right side to Josefine Hasbo who met the ball in the middle of the box. An unlucky touch from Pepperdine sent the equalizer shot into the back of the net.
