OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. – Due to unplayable conditions and continuing rainfall, the final round of the Fighting Illini Invitational was canceled on Sunday. The Pepperdine men's golf team will finish the tournament tied for 11
th after 36-holes with a score of 573 (286-287) at Olympia Fields Country Club.
Sophomore
Mahanth Chirravuri led the Waves with a score of 136 (68-68) after two bogey-free rounds to tie for fifth.
North Carolina will finish with the win after a score of 550 (281-269).
Next, Pepperdine will travel to Fort Worth, Texas for the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational from October 2-3.
