Waves Close Out Sahalee Players Championship

SAMMAMISH, Wash. – The #15 Pepperdine men's golf team closed out the first tournament of the fall season on Sunday, finishing in 11th place with a three-round score of 911 (291-311-309) at the par-72 Sahalee Country Club.

The Waves had gotten off to a strong start in the first round yesterday, but trailed in the second to enter today's round with some work to do.  The team was unable to string the necessary low scores together in the final round, though Pepperdine did surpass USC on the leaderboard, leading the Trojans by 20-strokes in the third round and 13-strokes overall.
