PALOS VERDES ESTATES, California – Lauren Gomez turned in her fifth top-20 performance of the season to lead the Pepperdine women's golf team at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, which wrapped up play on Tuesday.
The Waves finished in 15th place overall with a three-day total of 901 (297-302-302) at the par-71 Palos Verdes Golf Club. It was an extremely impressive field, with 13 of the 16 teams ranked in Golfstat's top 50.
PLAYER SCORES
- Freshman Lauren Gomez (Murrieta, Calif.) tied for 12th place at 217 (73-72-72). She had two birdies on the day.
- Sophomore Lion Higo (Gold Coast, Australia) tied for 65th at 229 (72-80-77).
- Graduate Megan Dennis (Bedfordshire, United Kingdom) tied for 67th at 230 (79-74-77).
- Junior Reese Guzman (Kahului, Hawai'i) tied for 71st at 233 (80-76-77). She had one birdie on Tuesday.
- Sophomore Kaleiya Romero (San Jose, Calif.) tied for 75th at 235 (73-86-76). She had two birdies in the final round.

Pepperdine's final tournament before the West Coast Conference Championships is the Chambers Bay Invitational in Washington from April 11-12.
