Box Score MALIBU, Calif. – The Pepperdine baseball team returned to the field on Friday, falling 10-0 to Gonzaga without recording a single hit.
The Waves (11-12, 4-3 WCC) could not get anything going against the Bulldogs (21-12, 10-3 WCC)

The Bulldogs got on the board first in the fourth inning thanks to an RBI single after a leadoff single and walk. They scored again on another single to take a 2-0 lead. A bases-loaded walk extended the lead to 3-0. A bloop single and throwing error gave the Bulldogs a 5-0 lead. After another walk and a catcher's interference, the Bulldogs took a 7-0 lead through four innings.
The Bulldogs added another run in the top of the eighth after a leadoff double and an RBI single. Two more runs scored on a two-RBI single, giving Gonzaga a 10-0 lead through eight innings. Alec Jacob was masterful for the Bulldogs, recording 12 strikeouts and not allowing a single hit.
