#5 Waves Continue Rout of WCC Play, Defeat Pacific 7-0

STOCKTON, Calif. – The fifth-ranked Pepperdine women's tennis team earned their 12th-straight dual win on Saturday afternoon, delivering a 7-0 drub of Pacific in NorCal.
No singles match needed more than two sets in the crushing defeat.

In doubles, courts two and three clinched for Pepperdine as Lisa Zaar And Taisiya Pachkaleva went 6-3 on two and Astrid Olsen and Shiori Fukuda went 6-4 on three to claim the doubles point.
In singles, the Waves took no names as no court saw more than two sets. #115 Pachkaleva and Fukuda used the same scores to defeat their Tiger opponents, blanking them in each of their first sets and only relinquishing two games in the second set.
The wins put Pachkaleva at a 14-match win streak, Zaar on a 10-match run and Fukuda on her ninth-straight win in her last ten matches.
