OHIO STATE 2019-20: Named a 2020 ITA All-American as a junior … Fifth Buckeye to earn All-America accolades and third to be honored in singles … Voted Big Ten Athlete of the Year and unanimous All-Big Ten first team … Rose from #79 in the preseason rankings to a high of eighth in February, ending season at #11 … Led team with 24-7 overall singles record and 9-3 dual mark … Posted 12-10 doubles record on the year, with 5-6 record in dual matches … Ended year on five-match winning streak, with wins over Kentucky, Arizona State, Purdue, Florida State and Northwestern … Named Big Ten Athlete of the Week Jan. 28 after defeating two ranked opponents during ITA Kickoff Weekend; clinched team’s 4-3 win with three-set victory against Oklahoma State to advance to the ITA Team Indoor Championship and posted a victory over Wake Forest … Big Ten Athlete of the Week on Jan. 21 after going undefeated at Michigan Invite, including two ranked singles wins and two doubles victories … Earned a spot in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships and made it to the Round of 16 … Runner-up at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in both singles and doubles with partner Luna Dormet … Runner-up at the USTA Fall Ranked Spotlight … At an ITF $15K in Lubbock, Texas, Fukuda reached the doubles final and advanced to the singles quarterfinals.
OHIO STATE 2018-19: Unanimous All-Big Ten selection as a sophomore … 24-12 in singles on the year, tying for second on the squad in overall wins; 18-7 in dual matches to rank second on the team in victories (5-4 on court one, 9-2 on court two, 4-1 on court three) … 20-14 overall in doubles, posting 11-9 dual record, with 17 matches on court one … Ranked the majority of the year in singles, reaching a high of #72 on Feb. 20 and April 2 and ending the season #121 … Ranked in doubles with Isabelle Boulais through the spring, rising as high as #19 March 5 and standing at #42 at the end of the year; Also ranked with Luna Dormet for two weeks in the spring … Reached ITA Midwest Regional doubles final with Luna Dormet, falling to Michigan’s duo of Fahey/Minor in the final, 8-6; defeated No. 30-ranked team from Illinois in the quarterfinals … Posted two singles wins at ITA Midwest Regional before losing in three sets in quarterfinals to Michigan’s Brienne Minor … An Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten selection.
OHIO STATE 2017-18: ITA Midwest Region Rookie of the Year and Big Ten Freshman of the Year … Unanimous All-Big Ten first team selection … 23-10 overall, 15-3 in dual matches in singles … 9-2 in Big Ten play in singles, all on court two, and 7-2 in B1G play in doubles, all on court one … Ended season ranked #107 in singles … 13-4 in doubles dual matches (all with Anna Sanford) on court one … 21-11 overall in doubles, tying for team lead in wins … Ranked #41 at the end of the year with Sanford and also ranked #81 with Maria Tyrina … Reached final of ITA Midwest Regional singles tournament … Earned Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten accolades.
OHIO STATE 2016-17: Did not see match action after joining the squad in January and redshirted.
JUNIORS: Quarterfinalist at Osaka Mayor’s Cup World Super Junior tournament … Won 2014 Dunlop Srixon Japan Open Junior Doubles title … 013 PHINMA International Junior Singles and Doubles Champion in both weeks of the competition … Competed in Fed Cup in 2013 and in 2014 Australian Open Junior tournament … 2013 MUFG Singles Junior Tennis Tournament Champion … Quarterfinalist at All-Japan Junior Tennis Tournament in 2014, ‘14 and ’09; doubles runner-up in 2015 … National High School Championships quarterfinalist in 2014 and reached third round in 2013.
