RECAP
Starting the day off in doubles, the Waves fell early on courts two and three as Jessica Failla and Shiori Fukuda were locked in a back-and-forth contest on court one.

There are few things more certain than singles wins courtesy of Lisa Zaar and Taisiya Pachkaleva. Zaar put Pepperdine on the board with a straight set win on court five. Her 6-2, 6-2 win over Sasha Vagramov gave her the 13th-straight dual singles win of this season in a record dating back to the first week of February.

Pachkaleva delivered the drama on court four, dropping the first set to Vivian Wolff 4-6 but using an 8-6 tie-break in the second set to force a third. The two then went into a super break for a third set, where Pachkaleva won big at 10-3 for the second and final Pepperdine point and the freshman's 15th-straight win in dual singles.
