MALIBU, Calif. – The No. 4 Pepperdine women's tennis team stays home this weekend to invite UCSB to Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center for a 1 p.m. first serve.

SCOUTING THE GAUCHOS
UCSB has only played two previous matches this season, splitting at 1-1. The Gauchos opened the season with a 4-2 win at UC Davis, but fell 6-1 to then-#17 Cal in Berkeley. The team hosts no ranked singles or doubles players.
SURF REPORT
The Waves were most recently kept at #4 in the nation by the ITA after the March 3
rd rankings were released.
Last week, Pepperdine defeated the likes of #13 Oklahoma State 4-0 at home with help from #88

Nikki Redelijk who won their singles matches to clinch the win for the Waves.
Redelijk took the first singles win in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4 over OSU's Lenka Stara, as Zaar followed at 6-4, 6-1 over Cowgirl Daniella Medvedeva. #88 Pachkaleva stole a 6-0 win in her first set before stumbling 3-6 in the second. The freshman stormed back in the third, however, going 6-1 to clinch the match for Pepperdine at 4-0.
