Kennedy Kerr had a top-10 finish in the 100-meter dash, senior
Brandon Davis nearly broke his own school record in the 400-meter dash and freshman
Skylar Davis finished in the top 10 the 5K at the Westmont Collegiate Classic on Saturday, March 27.
The 12.47 Kerr (West Hempstead, N.Y./Long Island Lutheran) ran in the 100-meter dash was good for sixth place. Skylar Davis (Savannah, Ga./Savannah Arts Academy), meanwhile, placed 10th in the women's 5K with a 19:05.50.

Annelies Ondersma (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich./University Liggett School) led the Waves again in the 1,500 meters with a 5:06.94, which ranked 15th in a field of 31 runners.

In his season debut in the 400-meter dash, school-record-holder Brandon Davis (Troy, Mich./Troy HS) ran a 50.90 — not only 11-hundredths of a second off his school record, but also good for fifth place overall. He later ran a 23.50 in the 200-meter dash.

Senior Preston Gromer (Casper, Wyo./Kelly Walsh HS) led the Waves in the 800-meter dash with an eighth-place finish in 2:01.27. He was also Pepperdine's top finisher in the 1,500 meters with a 4:04.09.

Freshman William Watkins (Mill Valley, Calif./Marin Catholic HS) ran an 11.97 to place eleventh in the 100-meter dash.
NEXT UP: Pepperdine will keep things local and race at Azusa Pacific's eponymous APU Invite on Saturday, April 3. Start times have yet to be announced.
