FULLERTON, Calif. – Pepperdine track heads inland for the AstroAI Distance Classic, hosted by Cal State Fullerton. The team is set to begin competition Friday at 11 a.m.
"This is going to be the first meet of the outdoor season where everyone is racing their primary events," said head coach Lauren Floris. "We are looking forward to seeing some fast times out of everyone!"
Recent practices have seen the women's squad run particularly well in distances of 800, 1500, and 5K yards. The Waves will compete in these three events tomorrow amongst others.
A schedule can be located here. The team will not be competing in the companion Ben Brown Invitational, as that meet is strictly for field events. Live Results are set to be posted here.
