Pepperdine has competed at the Bruin-hosted meets in eight of the last ten years—the pandemic affecting the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Last season Lizzy Crawford set the outdoor 5K record at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival (16:38.36). She looks to surpass that figure this weekend.
The team last competed two weeks ago at the AstroAI Distance Classic. Lizzy Crawford headlined the outing with an individual victory in the 5K (16:42.02). Overall, Pepperdine had nine top-ten finishers on the day.
Next weekend the orange and blue navigate north for the Stanford Invitational.
