MALIBU, Calif. – Three incoming freshmen earned spots on the U.S. Men's Junior National Team training roster this summer, as announced Team USA early last week.  Of the 17 selected to the 2018 training team, 12 including freshman JT Martin were selected to compete at the NORCECA Men's U21 Continental Championships on August 27 through September 2 in Havana, Cuba. 
 
Incoming freshmen Brendin Chandler (Agoura Hills, Calif./Calabasas HS), JT Martin (Deerfield Beach, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons HS) and Jacob Steele (Trabuco Canyon, Calif./El Toro HS) were the three to earn positions on the U.S. Men's Junior National Training Team roster. 
 
"Brendin, Jacob and JT are getting a taste of some high-level volleyball before school starts," Hunt said.  "They are all athletes that show great promise.  These athletes were selected to train with USA Volleyball and that is a testament to the commitment of our staff to recruit athletes that are trying to be the best versions of themselves.  They are student-athletes that are striving to be great in all parts of their day."
