Men's Golf Wraps Up Play at Jack Nicklaus Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Kevin DeHuff moved up to a tie for 22nd place to lead the Pepperdine men's golf team at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational, which wrapped up play on Monday.
The Waves finished in 11th place as a team with a score of 903 (295-303-305) at the par-71 Scarlet Course on The Ohio State University Golf Club.
DeHuff (Coto de Caza, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic HS), a senior, had the Waves' best score for the second round in a row. He shot a 2-over 73 on Monday to finish with a two-day total of 221 (75-73-73).
Additionally, junior Frederick Wedel (The Woodlands, Texas/The Woodlands HS) tied for 35th place at 224 (72-76-76), sophomore Robin Kang (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif./South Torrance HS) tied for 43rd at 227 (74-74-79), freshman Anthony Cecere (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif./St. Margaret's Episcopal School) tied for 57th at 234 (74-83-77) and sophomore Ian Mankoff (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest HS) was 66th at 242 (83-80-79).
Pepperdine's next tournament is California's Alister MacKenzie Invitational, set for Oct. 13-14 in Fairfax, Calif.
