OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. - No. 13 Pepperdine men's golf wrapped up the Fighting Illini Invitational on Saturday afternoon, working around gloomy conditions in northern Illinois.

The Waves placed in a tie for ninth out of 15 squads, shooting 22-under as a team.

Carson Kim led the way by registering a seven-under performance. The senior shot two-under in the third round (68), burying a pair of eagles along the way. The last time a Wave did such was Mahanth Chirravuri on April 4, 2026 in round two of the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational. Kim shot seven-under for the tournament, good enough for a tie in 19th place.

Just a couple strokes behind him was freshman Ayden Fynaut, who recorded five-under for the tournament after carding two-under (68) in the afternoon. A pair of birdies on the front nine guided his final round success, placing in a tie for 31st overall.

Luke Ringkamp also shot two-under (68) on the day, completing the Invitational at four-under. A pair of birdies on 17 and 18 helped him stay under par, finishing in a tie for 36th individually.

Willy Walsh tallied four birdies to record two-under (68) in the third round. The senior worked around a couple of bogeys to maintain three-under for the tournament.

Kailer Stone rounded out Pepperdine's lineup, shooting three-over for the tournament. A double-bogey on 12 was the only blemish in round three, sinking three straight birdies to end the round one-under (69).
